Anyone Else Here Do Work With MoveOn.org?
They just talked to me last night, and FINALLY got me going this year. I've worked with them many times in the past, doing everything from fundraising to door-to-door canvassing.
This year they have me doing phone bank work for the midterms. They've got a VERY VERY cool system setup to do it!
You log into your account, are giving a name and number, you call, click buttons to reflect the answers they give to questions (or if they hangup or whatever), then it's on to the next.
The goal is to hit every potential progressive voter in the 30 districts most up for grabs. Then we'll call all the most progressives back the days leading up to the election to make sure they go out to vote, ask them if they need transportation, etc.
VERY cool!
They're way more organized than they were in the last Presidential race, and I hope it really makes a difference this year.
