NoCarrier.

Sorry to clutter the board with yet another post about this but I wanted to be certain you saw this.

I just wanted to say that even though your Son is going to be taken care of at no expense (medically) I know that the donation I sent is going to help in other ways. I think what a lot of people criticising you fail to realize is that your son is still sick, and requires time that you would have otherwise spent working.

Even though the donation was to help with medical expenses, it is still much needed.

I do not want my donation back. My youngest daughter has a very rare kidney disease and I know how much time we spend with doctors, helping her, etc., thankfully I have the resources to take care of it... if I didn't it would be very hard on us and I can understand what you are going through. If the money enables you to better take care of your child while he is going through the operations, and recovery then that's all that matters.

I wish you, and your family luck, and hope it all turns out well in the end.

The new IE7 beta I installed is whacking it out. I should have known since it did the same thing on an older beta I tried.

Want to cyber sex chat? :1orglaugh I'm going to be pretty busy the rest of this week with some stuff, going to the beach house for the weekend, then I'll try to get my icq up. If it's really important email me, and I'll try to help out. Chio The Pirate AT g mail dot com.

I posted this on my board, but I'll repeat it here. One thing worse than being the parent of a sick child is being the broke parent of a sick child.

nicely said chio

I second that statement. I donated yesterday even after NC had called for the donations to be put off. I can't imagine what he and his family is going through. I'd never in a million years ask for my donation back. Cheers to this community and NC's little one and family has me pushing for them.

Good to know that not only does Chio have a Pirate's chest full of gold, but he has a heart of gold too!

My wife went instead (It was my wife or me, we can't go both right now). With all the radio drama and the drama here.. No seriously, I still have to take care of my daughter. She goes to school. She returned at 3:30

If you have a personal message for someone, try and send it to them by email or another such method. There's no need to spam the baord with it.

I don't think he is. But with the time he'll need to spend taking his child to doctors and not being able to use it to earn a living, he may get there. A healthy child needs a lot of attention. A sick one even more.

DaddyHalbucks 09-29-2006 09:06 AM

It is nice to see GFYers helping out a family in distress.
