Something you guys don't seem to understand about Adult Warden + My Statement
 

I don't think you guys get the fact that HE came forward telling the board who he was because he wanted to make things right.

If he wanted to run a scam he could just have kept the rest of the info off the board and nobody would have ever know (most likely). His board handle had a pretty strong rep. He only tried to help NoCarrier guys... chill out.

It happens that people just fuckup in life. I've had my share of missdeals (mostly outside of this industry) in my life... and I made up for it. You just end up stronger.

Most of the people I've dealt with on GFY are totally unprofessional, always late, have no business sence and you just can't trust their words.

I've happened to deal with Adult Warden in the past couple months and he's always been more then eager to pay on time, everytime. He got things done and often he has cut some losses on some deals.

There are only 3 people involved in problem as far as I know... It's not like he played a perfection jeff on everyone. And he's trying to handle the business.

Here are the 3 people :

Lensman : Beeing contacted, he will settle with him.
Hostive : Bankrupted. Once you bankrupt you forfeit all debts on either side. They got $3000 advertising for $2500.
Machine Gun Kelly : Paid back and got tons of work and refferals. Settled.

this is all a big mess too...its unfortunate...

most are questioning why he came forward NOW. and that conclusion (it seems coincidental) is that it's because he is launching a new business.

most are saying that if he came forward sooner rather then later then they wouldn't feel he had an underlying motive.

Nop he told me at the same time as BoyAlley. And asked us if we could help him to clear his name.

If he really wanted to plan a scam back in the days he would probably have gotten 5 sponsors to pay him 2500 ... not just one. From what I understand he didn't have much choice (from his point of view).

He made the wrong choice that time and now wants to kiss and makeup. People on GFY are turning this into a big fucking mess.

He was broke until recently and now has money and came forward...

I didn't know and don't regret it. He has paid me on time and then some for everything I do.

I think this is yet another case of emotions clouding people's sense of reasoning. Adult Warden is trying to atone for his sins, which is examplary compared to 99% of the other scammers on this bored who continue to lurk unabated by the Powers That Be.

How many webmasters have succesfully ran scams and business from fake names ? Many.

Some of them scammed MANY times under many handles...

It's not like it was a hard thing to do...

I think he wanted to come forward because he wanted to run an clean and honest business without having anything to hide.

He outed himself before I DID it dude.

surely he KNEW ppl would point and accuse.. knowing that he scammed before.

if he did/does intent to scam again it would NOT make any sense to out himself now.. look at the fiasco that has ensues... even quebec radio station is running off with the story!

eventually all those fake names are found out. there are only so many companies you can cut checks from before someone, out there, puts two and two together.

karma catches up to a person. to say so and so didn't have a choice is bs. everyone has a choice - it just depends if you're intelligent enough to make the "right" choice.

from reading what he posted, he could have handled that differently. i have been in a hell and back situation and NEVER did i ever think to steal from ANYONE (and this was before the internet was an option to steal from).

I'm not saying that he did the right choice back then.

I'm saying that now he's making up for it...

And theses nicks are found out because they are scammers...

as I said in the other thread, Adult Warden paid me instantly and was always true to his word in all the dealings we had over the past 5 or 6 weeks! I think he is trying 2 do all he can 2 make things right! I hope people give him another chance!

i hope for his sake, he really is going forward doing the right thing. no one needs that kinda karma sitting on their shoulder. apparently, though, amends have not been completely made. time will tell however.

For what its worth, he paid me on time and up front for $3K of sites.

I have no idea what he did in the past, but he definitely paid me on a deal within the last month.

Why not own up to your problems at the time instead of just running away and changing names? The same problem has happend with me and Toby who works for Zuzana Designs.

He acts like the problem is going to go away when it isn't. When you fuck people over, they will do whatever they can to get even and then some.

from what i know, he bought alot of sigs, and runs website to tell you if your website is online.

that is the way I see it

if he really was genuine, he would have come forward first and put it out there before attempting to do more business...instead he got business started, then came forward, leaving those he is doing business with a sour taste in their mouth, but the business is alrfeady underway, so he has more of a chance of being redeemed

it was a pretty slick plan actually, and knowing this industry, it will work 100%

I've also been working with Adult Warden over the last few weeks. Doing coding jobs for him. He always pays on time and more then generous amounts. He's been nothing but professional and kind towards me. As for the NoCarrier website he was just trying to help and if you went their and clicked donate you would see it was NoCarrier's paypal address. He wasn't trying to scam anyone. People jump to fucking fast around here.

I say Adult Warden should be unbanned.

I know he pissed some people off, but hey, kids screw up and he is MORE than trying to make up for his mistakes.

We all fuck up, some of us worse than others. I say if he has made ammends give him a second chance. There will be some that never deal with him and that is fine but at least give him the chance to prove himself.

My impression is that he was about to be outed and so he did it before someone else did... In other words... He was quite happy to continue hiding his past from everyone and only told the truth because he was forced to, not because he truly wanted to get his name cleared.

But it's nice that you support him.. Perhaps that's why he came back anonymously and was sucking up to everyone.. So that when the truth came out he'd have the backing of some people... i.e. maybe he played you.
