Warcraft III?
 

When is this baby due out? And are you buying it? I am a fan of games like Warcraft, Tribes, StarCraft, Command and Conquer.. so I'm waiting for this game with..... antici..pation!

LOL I was *just* thinking about starting a thread about this... like 5 minutes ago.. weird.

Anyway, its due for release on July 3rd. I was in the beta for this game, its really good.. but if you've played any other Blizzard RTS games, expect this to be VERY different. It is nothing like Warcraft II or Starcraft.

I'll be buying it for sure.

is it better than warcraft 1 or 2?

I saw the preview of WC III at the E3 convention here in LA. It fucking Rocks!

Another kick ass game to be released later is Mythology from Microsoft. Watch out for it, the demo was UNBELIEVABLE.

i had the full version for over a week now. been workin on build orders so i can jump on ladder when its released on july 3rd. i'm gonna buy it, games great.

Anyone know what machine WC3 will require?

My kids downloaded it from somewhere and have been playing it for a few days, pretty nice graphics compared to the old ones

I'll have to practice, so i can whip their butts now ;)

i have xp 1600, 256 ddr ram, geforce sdr and at 1024 res, 16 bit and all graphics set to high i get lag in large fights. gotta play with settings before i play ladder.

733 should run it fine. but you will have to knock down the graphics a bit if you wanna play online.

That class installer has never let me down, but I do prefer to unace everything myself manually. Thats the good thing about class, they set it up both ways.

Yeah unace manually is the way to go..unless you want to hear that damn midi techno song LOL...

Yeah, i got the .ISO on IRC myself today.

Shouldn't have taken 5 years to come out, but I like it alright. It's basically like Warcraft 2, except with sweet graphics, new units, etc. Oh, and much more of a storyline.

It's a cool break from the boring stuff out now for the PC.
(anyone else agree that GTA3 sucks on the pc, compaired to the ps2? maybe it's just me...)
