Some Thief wanted my Truck more then me (PICS)
 

I go out to my truck last week and I noticed that some thief wanted it more then I did. three weeks ago my cousins Ram was stolen from around the same area. The thief didn't know what he was doing because he tried to pop the lock but was over way to much from where the lock was. I am guessing that someone seen him or he just gave up. Now i gotta get my door fixed and re-painted.

Ive added an alarm with a two way remote now, so if my alarm goes off i will know and it disables the car from starting.

Someone did that to my friends car a while back. Just as well it was his old car. Two days later he was picking up his Audi TT. He'd have been super pissed if they did it to his new one.

little did he know I had a immoblizer installed
so all he did was do $1800 damage to the dash and steering collum

Happen to my car in June as well. I came out to go to work and the door was fucked as was the steering wheel. They tried to steal my stereo as well with no success. I guess they got pissed and kicked in the front windshield as well. Theiveing fucks!

I have lived in Mexico for 2 years, And never a problem., Then 2 months ago, I go to best buy in San Diego, and someone tries to break into my truck

same thing happened when I had my suburban. fortunately they did not get it and we were able to fix the damage around the door handle

Damn, that sucks... good thing they did not use a larger screwdriver, they coulda busted the shitty cast bolts that hold that door handle on and bipassed the lock mechanism, if they got into it, it woulda been gone..

did the cops come out to dust for prints on it or anything?

My old car was broken into using the same technique, and all the stereo equipment stolen... right out of my driveway :(

Had something similar happen when I went to see a friend in an inner city suburb, and came out to an empty street at about 4am... I didn't realise until the next day because I have keyless entry. Looks like the guy shoved a screwdriver INTO the lock, trying to turn it. Not sure what he would have accomplished as the engine is immobilised unless unlocked with the remote.

Sucks that your door was damaged, that's gonna cost a lot more than a new barrel. :(

That's the worst .. a small mark like that would make me nuts and i bet they charge an arm and a leg to fix it ... thank god for insurance

i had my car stolen from a hooters parking lot, but i got blown by one of the girls who gave me a ride home.

Car alarms are pointless. Nobody gives a shit when they go off. Just put a starter kill on it and leave it at that.
