What supplements/vitamins do you take daily?

Not bodybuilder stuff, just everyday things to be a little bit healthier. What do you take?

TG Rebecca 09-26-2006 08:39 PM

multiple vitamin with iron, fish oil, calcium w/vitamin d (helps the calcium get absorbed).. those are the regulars. :)

in my medicine cabinet, though, i also have chromium picolinate and a few others that i haven't taken in forever. :)

rodney25 09-26-2006 09:06 PM

Vitamin C and iron supplements here, but I am not really taking them constantly.

ER!C L!VE 09-26-2006 09:07 PM

I am very worried and have yet to look up the effects of too much of a good thing with vitamins. I thought you just pee out that which your body doesn't absorb or need but someone recently told me otherwise.

I remember Linus Pauling saying he took like a thousand times the recommended daily Vitamin C, but it now scares me when I read the labels that say I am taking 400% of the daily recommended of this and that when I add up the stuff I am taking like antioxidants...

latinasojourn 09-27-2006 08:34 PM

calcium 2x daily, fish oil, centrum, vitE, 1000mg vitC

every day for years.

and not so much as a cold in at least 5 years.
