Simple answer is don't use Outlook Express. There are too many viruses trogans spyware that exploit MS code.

I use MS Outlook Express ....however... I have a piece of software called MailWasher check my various email accounts first.

The benefit of this is that the incoming emails are checked against the spammers black hole list automatically.

Viruses are screened.

You can add whole domains or individual to your FRIENDS or BAN list.

The best part is that you can BOUNCE emails back to the spammer stating that your email does not exist AFTER you have previewed the email if you so choose.

I am not affiliated with the software and don't make one dime from it. However, I use it daily and it is convienent and best of all FREE.

Slow down a little.... I think you're moving too fast. Spare the technical jargon. Could you dumb it down a shade for Double-Post-Darren? http://gofuckyourself.com/images/icons/tongue2.gif

Take a look at Tools>Message Rules

You can send a lot of junk to the Deleted folder using that function.
