I just fired my programmer
 

What a noob. I didn't even feel bad that he had 6 kids a brand new car and was the single source of income for his entire family. Maybe porn is turning me into an asshole but this guy was counter productive and needed way too much hand holding.

Not really, I gave him 5 months and every resource he needed to improve. Some people just arent capable, but can talk like they know everything there is to know.

my one guy kept loseing his internet connection, i offerd to pay his bills etc because he was excellent chance after chance, now im waiting for him to change location

I think this is along the same lines, the guy was here in my office so that excuse didn't work. But he took up everyone else's time basically getting them to tell him how do it. I don't mind a new guy learning but there's a point where it's not acceptable to depend on your co-workers for help. My company just doesn't have room for this kind of idiocy.

i'm gonna call it "i just fired the pilot of my private jet and three of my assistants" - my pilot made so much money wiht me that he lived in a penthouse in Monaco. i fired him because he kept turning the plane left when i told him right. a real idiot. he had 19 kids, 43 chickens, a llama and the worlds largest booger collection... but he deserved it. fucking n00b. Programming is an artform - those who dont realise this - or dont believe me are likely to make poor or incompetent programmers.
