Because I'm trying to give people a guilt trip?

No, because I wonder what might go thru NoCarrier's mind everytime he sees your sig.

You know, I did think of that. I'm sure he'd be willing to endure any amount of stress and worry if there's a chance it will help save his son.

I would.

I'll bet you would too. But this isn't about us, or him... I'll put anything there as long as it reaches people. I lost a son once and I would have done ANYTHING to have him back, but I didn't have any warning. I never had a chance to save him.

edit: Reading that back, maybe it IS about me, a little.

baddog 09-26-2006 01:54 AM

my opinion stands . . I don't think you are giving anyone a "guilt trip."

If you have a better suggestion, I'm open. I feel for NoCarrier, as you obviously do, but that's not the priority here.

GrouchyAdmin 09-26-2006 02:03 AM

While I applaude your effort, you might just hop on the same bandwagon as the rest of us.. the text, even with good intent, is pretty tasteless.

Yeah, it's called a double standard. Got a problem with that? :thumbsup

It's fine but I'd change it to something like, "why buy a PS3 when you can save a life?".

Good suggestion, I think I'll take it.

Dagwolf 09-26-2006 03:03 AM

For those confused by this thread: Previous sigs were, "If he dies, will you wish you'd done more?" (or words to that effect)
and "Do you really need that PS3 for Xmas?"

baddog 09-26-2006 09:07 AM

much better

martinsc 09-26-2006 09:09 AM
