Bread Machine Experiment ONE!

Someone gave me a bread machine last week. After an exhaustive search I found the manual online and printed it, along with three recipes.

I just started a loaf of raisin bread.. keep your fingers crossed!

My wife does too.

I waited until she was out of the house in case something goes horribly wrong.

Experiment 1 was a failure. I didn't hear the beeps indicating it was time to put the raisins in.

I now have a loaf of cinnamon bread.

Taste test results to follow...

I tried to make bread once.... six people lost their lives that day in the explosion that ensued. Worst of all, the bread sucked ass. =(

How is it going? Bread machines take about 4 hours, correct?

Hehe breadmachines....I love them...However, you just use them 1-8 times, and after that, you put it somewhere in the closet, and you will never use it again:)

That's about right.

Ok, I wound up with cinnamon-flavoured bread. I added butter and sugar and toasted it; It was very good.

I'll have to try to do raisin bread again tomorrow.

I suggest making pizza dough in the bread maker.. you dont cook it of course, but its very easy to make really good dough and rise it in like 2 steps.
