so we bought a new car friday

Not cool one a 2006 grand marquis, when you travel to shoots with three dogs. Room is more important then style lol. God I forgot how much balls 8 cylinders has.

Sosa 09-25-2006 12:38 PM

you take your dogs on shoots?

squishypimp 09-25-2006 12:40 PM

congrats on the new car purchase :)

Klen 09-25-2006 12:41 PM

Is this the same Tony who bitches about the SUV drivers using up gas? :)

Automatic: : 17 mpg / 25 mpg

I used to get that with my Ford Exploder that sat 7 ;)

Quagmire 09-25-2006 03:53 PM

Does driving a great big battleship of a car (by today's standards) make you feel old? Do you have an urge to leave the right turn blinker on while travelling in the left lane at 20mph? :)

OK, so why are you guys always riding people about driving SUVs? :upsidedow

And no, not 25 on the Exploder - 23 though. Average was usually about 19 and that was driving up and down mountains. It's probably the best mileage car I've had in a while. The 5.7 Hemi doesn't quite get that :Oh crap

I don't know what the Wrangler gets because it's the first car I've owned in years that doesn't automatically tell me and I'm too lazy to figure it out :)

i'm not always riding people about driving suvs.
most suvs don't get that kind of mileage though.
i would have LOVED to have gotten a prius...but couldn't fit everything in it.

tony286 09-25-2006 05:47 PM

if they made a hybrid of that car I would own it for the size I needed it was my only option in a sedan. Most that drive these look how big my dick is suv's it is not for necessity and gas consumption does pay for terrorism. also its the same mileage as my sable. so its not like I went from a 2 cylinder to grand marquis and when you consider how big it is compared to the sable its actually very fuel efficient.

lazycash 09-25-2006 05:57 PM

Get a self feeder and leave the dogs at home, why on earth would you take them when you shouldn't have to.

Peaches 09-25-2006 06:04 PM

Ford/Mercury, Toyota/Lexus and Saturn all have hybrid SUVs.

And no, paying for gas doesn't pay for terrorism, lol. If it does, I can guarantee you support the terrorists more than I do :)

gecko 09-25-2006 06:08 PM

Congrats..

Fresh 09-25-2006 06:11 PM

congrats tony :thumbsup

did you decide not to go for a SUV because of the gas???

I guess reading comprehension isnt big in your studies. lol I said sedan, I cant fit on the drivers side of a suv. Oil which gas is made from does pay for terrorism.

rodney25 09-25-2006 06:41 PM

Congrats on that new car, man. :)

Digipimp 09-25-2006 07:23 PM

i like the grand marquis, you gotta put a spotlight on it though so you can roll up on kids in parking lots and make them think you're the police

You don't need a mercedes or ferrari to impress me...you got what you wanted. Good for you! enjoy it. and good luck with it. I've had the SL500 etc. etc...you know what I drive everyday? A 2002 impala. Who is there to impress? most important, comfort, safety, happiness.

madawgz 09-25-2006 09:43 PM
