Monitor Issues, Computer guys HELP
 
every few minutes whatever the last thing i picked is staying on the screen, If i right click and pic new folder, I see the new folder text stay ont he screen, if i pick an option from an image the text stays ont he screen the only way to clear it is to change the screen setting and reset the screen. also when i close the lid the screen isnt turning off anymore. Video card on the brinks? That's about the only thing I can think of.

No i dont think its that, everything else is fine, just something not allowing the screen to refresh correctly

is there an update for your video card driver? try uninstalling the video card from the device manager and reinstalling the driver.

good luck...as a last resort...i would format C: and start fresh

download the latest drivers

Microsoft Windows has that problem... It is a refresh thing !

Right click on your mouse and sellect refresh...

You might need a program to check your registry !

never encountered it before... but i think its in videocard... thats what everyone agreed...

No videocard updates, and it started happening since i installed Macromedia 8 and updated my wireless drivers

That doesnt work, i have to reset the moniter for it to work

change to LINUX...and all your problems will be solved!!

It was the updated Intel Wireless drivers, i removed them and reinstalled them and it fixed the problem
