I think the whole notion is absolutely spectacular!

I got the idea watching crankyankers a while back when it first came out, they did a skit on "puppets gone wild". I immediately started researching the making of these puppets and after countless patterns and foams/fabrics have come to the puppet you see here. I have several puppets, and two male puppets almost complete for full hardcore action. I consulted with Rick Lyon, who was very helpful ( of avenue Q and crank yankers) on the making of them as well, and got a lot of good tips. The patterns have been fully designed by me and the foam bodies and fleece skins are sewn by me as well (which took learning how to use a sewing machine). Each puppet takes about 70 work hours to make and are quite difficult to create. I've been refining the process for about three years now.
I have long contemplated the business model. people do pay for toon sites so I see no reason why they should not pay for this. however i think i may start out as a free site with minimal content which requires registration and use in-site advertising and email marketing with the registration data. As more and more content is shot and as I master the art of puppetry and begin making videos, I will then most likely go straight to pay for subscription and that will be based on the success of the previous model.
I get an unbelievable response from my puppets and have put out a few galleries on some of the tgp's about a year ago with my old model puppets which were fully foam (reticulated foam with no fleece skin). Thos galleries generated crazy amounts of traffic so I expect pretty good success upon launch.
I guess we'll have to see what happens. Thanks for asking.
