Politics: Do you find it strange that the first country to use a nuke has about the greatest fear of any country in the world of having a nuke used on their soil?

I don't think there is another country that's citizens live in fear of a nuclear attack the way Americans do.

People in the US also fear the use of a chemical attack. So what.

because in the USA the generation before ours grew up with that fear and the government used that fear to control its citizens.

the government is doing the same thing as back in the 1940's and 50's. using the fear to convince us to take certain (and often unneccessary) actions.

Lets say you been getting into fights out on the street, back and forth pretty equal and brutal ass kickings.
Then one day you discover a gun and shoot the fucker you been fighting with.
Awhile latter you hear through the grapevine that the fucker that you shot has a pissed of brother who now discovered a gun.

Now who is in fear?

Well, I guess you're only afraid if you feel like you're a prime target and is vulnerable on the attack. :pimp
