I think I?d go back in time to stop Marilyn Manson from becoming such a dickhead. Man what happened? when he was Paul Pfeiffer on the Wonder Years that guy had it all, he even had Winnie Cooper for a while god damn it.. he was such a lucky bastard then. 1939: I would then display assorted science fiction movies of today and explain to the audiences that what they are seeing is indeed the future.

With that set of thought suggestions of reality placed into the minds of society. I would be interested to see the outcome of the future.

If going back to the past would allow me to alter few events in history then I'd choose going back to the time right before those deaths and tragic accidents of my favorite actors/idols. Steve Prefontaine and James Dean's car accidents and Christopher Reeve on his last horseback riding. :)

If you went back in time to change events of your life would you alter it enough that you never came across the time machine therefore how did you get back in time in the first place.Then if you never went back how did you actually change anything.Sort of a paradox

I'd travel through time like Keanu Reeves did, collecting up the luminaries throughout history. I'd gather them together in our time and give them access to the knowledge and technology we have today. Imagine having all of those incredible minds focused on solving the world's problem.

The Buddha, Jesus, Gandhi, Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Einstein, Edison...on and on.

Maybe with that we could really fix a few things. Oh ya...and I'd set up myself and all of my family members to win the largest lotteries in history over a 10 year period in the 80s and 90s to fund using that knowledge for the betterment of humanity.

The time machine has been invented and used many many many times. There is only one in existence, and it's sole purpose is to go back in time and assassinate anyone who invents a time machine before they invent it.

or i would travel to the 30's or 40's pre ww2 the people dressed before they went out, the women wore hats and gloves and high heels all the time and the men wore really nice suits and no one was at a nice resturant in sweat pants and smelled funny like now
