I'm a smoke hater, but I'm NOT a nazi - is something wrong with me?

The 1st Reich was much better. The sequels sucked.

Yes it was illegal for them to smoke cigarette. One of the main laws was that you had to keep your body in the best possible shape and smoking was prohibited as a part of that.

I think the History Channel talks alot of shit to be honest. Just like the Discovery Channel, etc when an expert watches one of their shows they can absolutely pick it to pieces (I've sat next to a few who have). Hitler certainly was on a mix of alot of drugs to keep him going, but they did just that, kept him going. He wasn't a drug addict in the sense of recreational use, he was a person whose body was falling apart, and the stress of war, especially loosing in war, took an increasing toll on his health and ability to act. He relied on alot of different, even experimental drugs just to get up in the morning, but he certainly was very much against smoking and drinking, and throughout his whole life he never indulged in either in any great amount apparently. And yeah, I agree pr0, the history channel does way too much stuff on WWII/Nazism in general, but I guess it's all about ratings.

wow hitler did drugs, never knew that!
