adult submitter vs Gass?
 

Ok I'm making galleries and really eyeing some of these tools to help with the creation/duplication. Which of these is better or is there some other tool you would recommend.

I have adult submitter, I love it...

Never used G.A.S.S. but from what I hear, you can't go wrong either way....

GASS won't get you blacklisted.

I've used GASS, its very good but doesn't have a built in form filler. The reason you won't get banned when you use GASS is you actually have to do manual form fills. GASS accellaarates gallery duplication and recip placement.

The next generation TGP submitter should help webmasters determine which text/layout combo works best. That way, instaed of just helping wm's submit/create, these tools help them make key strategic decisions.

Either will Adult Submitter, since it's also a manual submission.....

Why would hitting a button to fill the form out for you then manually checking the details and hitting submit get you banned? I don't see whats wrong with that. Do we HAVE to type in our details dozens of times?.. its still manually submitting..

Anyway, I never really used GASS, but so far I really like Adult Submitter.

In general I would say Adult Submitter is a more complete program.

DB Editor

Adult Submitter has a better DB editor, you can easily add additional database and change tgps.

But Gass, you need to do something extra in order to do it.

Both program are more or less the same.

FTP to the server

AS: Yes
Gass: No

Fill in fom function:

AS: Yes, but they don't fill in recip link and number of pix field, which is queit common for most tgps. So you need to feel in manually. And you cannot open more than one fill in browser, so it might make the submission process slow sometimes. Also, there are some minor problem for their fill in function, but this is their 1st version only, so I hope things should improve in the future.

Gass: No. You have to use roboform to fill in the form. It's doesn't matter GASS don't have fill in function becasue roboform works great. From my experiences, it's faster for me to use roboform compare with AS fill in function. Becasue I can open mulitple broswer and submit them at the same time.

you can do the same with GASS,,, just right click on the tgp's on the left column and a new browser will open up,,, i never used the built in browser

G.A.S.S. has an extremely easy to use database editor. I haven't seen the one in the other program but I have yet to see one as easy to use as the one in G.A.S.S.

Yes, you can add your own tgps to the databases... and as far as I can tell, G.A.S.S. is one of the only programs that supplies both recip and non-recip tgp databases...

Custom submit lists. G.A.S.S. makes these a breeze and using drag and drop as well... much easier and more intuitive than any other submitter out there

Also has a dbcopier tool to let you share your custom selection of tgps with other G.A.S.S. users... no other submitter comes with this...

No built-in ftp because there are much better ftp programs out there that are much more complete than anything that could ever be built-in to a program like this. A free one that is nice is filezilla... do a search for it.

No form filling but multiple submission windows let you use your current form filling software. So far G.A.S.S. is the only submitter that has multiple submit windows... much better than doing one at a time

Also, G.A.S.S. comes with better docs than any tool I have seen in a long time, be it a submitter or otherwise. Step-by-step instructions, with screen grabs, detail every item of the user interface and all features of the main program and the database tool.

And at $45 it is less than any other submitter out there and more full-featured, IMHO. I am a little biased tho :D

Our program was built for a simple reason... myself and other fellow webmasters felt the features, webmasters were in need of were not built in other submission programs nor did they take them into consideration when they were voiced. Being a webmaster doing the daily hand submissions and others like my self.

Our databases come with a TGP1 and TGP2 database that the user can customize if one chooses to do so.

They can also create niche databases or limited ones that they wnt to submit seperately... for example

Each database created can create custom tgp recip groupings for that database and can be changed on the fly.

Our duplication naming system is simple and superior to all submitters...

As far as GASS offering custom lists not so sure about that since its not custom just filtered through tgp's like we offer as well....

Many of the subscription based tgp submitters and or autosubmitters are fileld with tgp's with litttle to no traffic ,don't exist , or redirect to a sponsor directly thus taking your traffic.

Our DB Editor comes with the submitter program and works side by side maximizing Microsoft Access and it databse style so it cant get any easier than that. All users can exchange databases since its a universal db file format.

The FTP Fuction was built to simplify the process, as a tgp poster myself I hated downloading, unzipping, reuplaoding all the galleries why not just do it all in one step?

This tool is not meant to replace a your FTP program but 1 less dam thing to spend time doing in the gallery building and submission process.


Full Featured?

AdultSubmitter has the full package and is gonna get a hell of alot better in v2.0

All users get free updates and upgrades free...


I respect Darksoft and the others hard work....

However I think there is a simpler and easier way to hand submissions and offering more customizable tools and features.

But like all things it comesdown to personal preference...

I have used TGSW, RS and AS. And I would go with AS, even though as mentioned earlier, it's not an auto submitter.

AdultSubmitter is the only way to go. Spend your money wisely and go with what works....adultsubmitter. Save time and make more money.
