dont know about Jambla, but i know TooMuchMedia has Carma and alot of friends tell me that its great :)

Joomla (joomla.org) is a great CMS but you have also Drupral (drupal.org) - less community but seems faster.

Joomla is a split from Mambo and it would be worth having a look at that as well.

Joomla 2 (The next major upgrade) will not support Mambo templates and mods and that could cause some issues.

What is the joomla directory component you use on your site - mostree or custom ? nice web.

Thank you. I am just using the core Joomla for the premium porn site directory there, along with jReviews for the review pages. I am also using Bookmarks for the other sections (blogs, review sites, etc.). For the search engine friendly URLs I use JoomSEF. I also use a number of RSS components for syndicating my content and displaying others on the main page.
