Assume you have been sending a 6 digit sales volume to an online store selling widgets. Regularly, month by month, for over a year. Commission is alright, though you'd think they'd bump you up with a high volume of sales. They don't.

So I talk to a affiliate rep on the phone after she approached me about being their all time top affiliate, blah blah. The lady was totally clueless, didn't know a thing, and even when I mentioned that I could generate 4 times the amount of sales if they gave commission on green widgets (which they don't, greedy fucks), she just blew me off. But at least she praised our excellent editorial and integration of their products into my site.

One thing that I love and miss about adult is that the program owners will take care of you. They'll even send you fuckin' Xmas gifts AND raise the payout for you. Not to mention, they'll fuckin bend over backwards for your traffic. More traffic, more sales.

Don't get me wrong, this store is a major player, huge sales volume and exclusivity. Too good for my traffic?

Mainstream sponsors don't seem to care for some reason. It's so weird. They can be picky and choosy somehow. Or the employees are douches. I am unsure of which.

agreed, the sadder thing is, on their own forum they are offering money to find peoples info, they have already insulted females in the industry, have made threats. and posted info.

Weird fuckers. They come to me for more business (I shifted my focus towards another store in recent weeks, hence the contact), yet they are unwilling to make it happen.

I've noticed great products, but shitty commisions in mainstream. Has alot to do with profit margins. I have an aviation related site in the works and even when buying direct from the manufacturers you're lucky to get a 30% profit. It becomes a volume equation... you need 1000's of products available just to make it doable.
