Why doesnt caller ID , ID all fucking Calls??????????

some people don't want to let you know they called ??

My vonage comes up unknown number on a lot of caller ids ;)

Unlisted numbers would be fairly useless if they presented caller ID...

some people pay for having their # come up private
and if ya want it to appear, usually just have to do some * code before ya dial and it appears for that call only

lol.. it's also a feature on 100% of nokia phones (in europe atleast), if you want to use it.. for free.

On the razor you can block all calls to be private

Some businesses running on older PBX and centranet equipment will show up as unknown or out-of-area. Also depends on the local telco switching equip. as well.

well i guess if ya dont want people knowing your phone number, block it, i have that prob over here in thailand, but if they block their number when calling my phone, i just dont answer

Well some poeple dont want show their number.

any phone system can be set to display any# or no number at all that shows up on caller id's.

i have my number displayed to everyone
