Input welcome :)

Awesome service! I was never sure till now people in hongKong can see my sites!

directfiesta 09-22-2006 05:57 AM

I use that for quite a while..

Best feature is that it emails my blackberry , so I can right away take steps to fix any server problems...

EDIT: Ouppsss, I use UpPanel.com

Maybe its better if that verification can be removed.

ajrocks 09-22-2006 06:15 AM

Ita a nice tool I've spent some time checking it out. Checking sites from Multiple networks is a really great feature!

fallenmuffin 09-22-2006 06:18 AM

You're programmer wasn't very thorough. The 'Quick Check' script doesn't account for HTTP response headers i.e. 301 Moved. Redirecting domain.com to www.domain.com

But it does work... :thumbsup

Input:

1. The confirmation email after registering was in broken html that displayed as text. Not sure why that happens, but I use gmail and I get other html emails ok.

2. At the page http://www.uptimeguide.com/users/myservices.php you have a few php errors such as
Code:

Warning: main(../functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/virtual/uptimeguide.com/htdocs/users/myservices.php on line 2
3. After trying to add a site to monitor, I got this:

Quote:

Warning: main(../functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/virtual/uptimeguide.com/htdocs/users/myservices.php on line 2

Warning: main(../functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/virtual/uptimeguide.com/htdocs/users/myservices.php on line 2

Warning: main(): Failed opening '../functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/virtual/uptimeguide.com/htdocs/users/myservices.php on line 2

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /var/www/virtual/uptimeguide.com/htdocs/users/myservices.php:2) in /var/www/virtual/uptimeguide.com/htdocs/users/myservices.php on line 6

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: splitaddr() in /var/www/virtual/uptimeguide.com/htdocs/users/myservices.php on line 332
Good luck with it though :1orglaugh

You have to remember...With every nice tool/system...There will be abuse...So this keeps people from abusing it...

And the reason why there is issues...I recently switched the domains of IsThatUp and UptimeGuide...I haven't editted the email templates to switch it over...The script has been halfway removed from UptimeGuide...

Thats why your getting the errors :)

Because that's what happens when you hit the "REPLY" button to compliement someone on their service - your post is included into an already established thread instead of creating a new one.

I doubt anyone (well other than you because you seem to lose your grasp on things that are obvious) is going to confuse the 15 server test he provides with the 1 server simple script I have - but it's also called marketing when anyone who might compare the two sees that I offer alot more scripts that they don't provide.

Which, btw, is more than you offered when you posted here:
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...2#post10896482
to promote your program reseller id in the cams.com thread.

Is it just me or there no real joy to be had in owning stupid people?

Thanks everyone :) We will be improving it with more features soon...Just integrated the part where you can select all servers without clicking each one...

And the other boxes should be online anytime!
