i've notified sherm about this, i dont know if he's doing it on purpose or not. but the following appears in his source.

my computer is already fucked, im posting from my laptop, but i guess thats what i get for using IE on my comp... heh... anyways, it downloads a file called xpl.wmf (windows media file) and runs an exploit which autoinstalls a bunch of shit, and in my case, totally fucked up my computer,it doesnt even boot up... :mad: :mad: :mad:

im gonna dissassemble the file and see exactly what its doing, so for everybody trading traffic with sherms shack, beware, might wanna pull your links until this problem is resolved.

i'll keep you posted on what i find.. and i hope this was just a mistake on sherms part and not done on purpose.. surfers dont need to get fucked further.

Jesus man.. Why the hell would you start a thread like this? Do you really think I'd install something that that would crash my surfer's computers? I've been in this biz since 99, and the last thing I would do is tarnish my reputation. I'm looking into this, but is seems as if there may be a script exploit that needs to be patched. I've narrowed it down pretty good, but I will msg the script's maker before going on a public message board and calling him an idiot.

For some reason, you are a man with no sig. I assume that maybe you have found this exploit, installed it via my script and tried to bring down my good name. luckily the people on GFY that have a brain, know I'd never do this. I like my income too much.

the wmf exploit has been out for ages, if your getting hit with that then it was bound to happen eventually. keep your system patched.. if you run firefox unpatched you would be in the same boat

Obviously this wasn't anything malicious, and props for Sherm handling it quickly once notified. No one is exempt from issues such as these.
