What to do with Warez Search Term
 

Recently, I have been doing a lot of testing of different search engine optimization techniques.

One of the words I tested was Warez. Well, low and behold, my test page has ended up in the top 5 of one of the major search engines. Only problem is, I have absolutely NO!! desire to actually have any warez type links on this page. (there aren't any now - just the word warez appears on my page in a few key positions) So, where do I send all of this traffic?

Here were the options I thought of:

a) Send the surfer to an Internet Eraser type program - but these warez types would probably simply download the program and then download a crack.

b) Pop-up an adult site window - but since I have the word warez on the page, this would possibly be breaking the cardinal rule of most affiliate programs, "No Warez Sites"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since you sure as hell can bet that they will not pay for anything, and they are completely not filtered into a porn niche, i suggest the following.

use <a href="http://www.freeezinebucks.com/ps.php?s=feb&u=girlstrip">free ezine bucks</a> with their full page add, this lists nearly every niche available. and they can sign up for free, pays $1 per signup.

Send them to some Top List.

Any other suggestions? This traffic is substantial. To put it in perspective, the word SEX only gets about 4,000 more searches per month then the word Warez. And warez is the 32nd highest rated search term of ALL words on the net.

Congratulations i guess, you are only shooting yourself in the foot, if a company sees you making decent money, they are probably going to term you before they pay you because you do break the cardinal rule, just like you said

Yep, you are probably right. Oh well, now I will try my optimization techniques on more mainstream terms like shareware, music, etc and let the wzrez page die a quick death.

I used to frequent WAREZ sites for all my program needs.

The ONLY way you'll make money off that audiance is if you make a warez site, and hide a dialer in with all the programs. :1orglaugh
