fallenmuffin 09-21-2006 04:25 AM

Look at her face.. lol. She's a killer

notabook 09-21-2006 04:35 AM

That is very normal for them to try to protect their masters at nearly any cost. I had a mutt, a little bit bigger than that and she went after a gigantic rottweiler. Jumped on his back and started biting the shit out of him, the rottweiler just shook her off and looked at her like she was retarded.

Give her an earring and put a leather jacket on her. She'll look like a biker chick. Then she'll look the part of ass-kicker.

lol Yeah its very normal. Smaller dogs may be small but their attitude/spunkyness is a hell of alot bigger then are. We have a year old chihuahua that weighs less then 5 lbs and a 13 week old rotty which probably weighs a good solid 15 lbs. My little chi stands her ground with him and she doesn't take shit lol.
Our rotty Atlas, isn't mature yet so he's not too interested in getting laid ...yet lol. But Luna our chihuahua is very ready to get humped lol so she mounts his head while he's lying down and just goes at it :Oh crap
Meanwhile his head is being driven into the hardwood floor lol, poor little guy.

Small dogs have alot of spite and they don't care if you're 10x's bigger then them or not. They'll take you on :winkwink:

donross 09-21-2006 06:19 AM

like father like son.. or i would say like boss like dog....

Gnat69 09-21-2006 06:37 AM

just like people you have to watch out for the little guy, they will rip you apart....I have had pets all my life and I always find the little ones go after the bigger dogs...it is normal (c:

I would say that is normal. That is a nice Queensland Heeler you have there. I have a few friends that have heelers and they are basically loyal to the owner and go on the defense when needed; some are very tempermental.

Jenny S. 09-21-2006 07:02 AM

We owned a 125 lbs. bullmastiff who got bitten by little puss lickers like this almost every week. They jumped his throat sometimes so bad he'd bleed. He would just shake them off and look with the utmost surprise at the little rats that attacked him. We too thought he had a disorder to let this happen, until one day a full grown rottweiler jumped him. Took him abouyt 15 seconds to set things straight. It was just below his honor to retaliate at the little guys.

hzoltan 09-21-2006 07:14 AM

my little dog did the same... dunno why,but I liked it :D

DraX 09-21-2006 07:15 AM

LittleSassy 09-21-2006 09:13 AM

its normal for dogs to be like that...heheh my dog was just like that everytime he sees another dog

viki 09-21-2006 09:15 AM

My parents dog is a beagle and although he doesn't attack dogs bigger than him, he does like playing with them. He doesn't give the time of day to any little dogs at all.

pornpf69 09-21-2006 09:57 AM

My dog does the same with bigger male dogs only. He's a male though so I think its a dominance thing. He wont attack a female or a smaller dog though. And he's a sweetheart with ppl and kids. never even growled at anybody... I think your dog just has caracter; just be careful cuz she might get her ass kicked for good at some point. Although it doesnt seem to fix the problem. Not with mine anyway :Oh crap

marko13 09-21-2006 10:08 AM

cute dog... but you should talk to some vet....

E$_manager 09-21-2006 10:31 AM

No , i don't think it is normal. You should keep her on a leash or many animals will suffer. :)

Raven 09-21-2006 10:41 AM

I have an old male shih-tzu who attacked AaronM's gigantic lab, Cayman.

Cayman could have eaten my entire dog as an appetiser.

My idiot was hanging onto Cayman's back leg for dear life. It was a good thing Cayman is a good natured dog....

Bandit, my dog, weighs in at 22 pounds. Cayman, I believe, was almost 100 lbs.....

jmk 09-21-2006 10:54 AM

My pugs the same, he isn't scared of any big dog. I am convinced he thinks he is the same size as a rottweiler or something.

It affects Chihuahua's, Mini Pincers, and Terriers the world over.

E$_manager 09-21-2006 12:49 PM

RuthB 09-21-2006 12:52 PM

hahaha.. I have a St Bernard, and it's so funny any time we walk past one of the little dogs they go NUTS, barking, pulling at their leash as though they're gonna get a piece! :1orglaugh

It cracks me up EVERY time!

Holly 09-21-2006 01:37 PM

She kind of reminds me of my dog. He's that size but he's more furry and a mutt. He's super friendly and the best dog ever but he loves to play rough with big dogs, too. His best friend that he hangs out with all day, is my guinea. The pictures are blurry and shitty but this is them:
