What browser do you use mainly

Lets see what webmasters use.

I started with ie then used avant browser but it started to be really slow. didn't like firefox because it does not suopport wmv files in browsers or i might have missed the plugin or extention.

But after using several others i have decided to give firefox a change as it also has tab browsing and that is pretty handy in this biz.

I know most of use use multiple browsers but what is your main browser?

just a little poll:thumbsup

It has, it's called IE7... it's ok, but still not great. I've been using since I installed Vista, but I still prefer Firefox over all.

IE people just don't care about these browser wars.. check any website logs and about 90 percent are IE, if not more

PSGuru 09-20-2006 06:02 PM

Opera as my main, but have others installed for testing.

Crazy Carlos 09-20-2006 07:03 PM

true that is what i see when i look at our site stats. But webmasters should have tested a few and picked the one they like best. What suites your needs best. :pimp

i think i have tested aover 10 browsers for quite soem time but most just don't got what it needs. to many stupid options you never need and who are making the browser unstable.

same here! Opera is the best! it actually found a worm on a site that tried to install itself onto my computer without me clicking on anything other than going to that site... and it wasn't a porn site!

FF uses too much memory... Internet explorer can die in a fire.

Ice 09-20-2006 07:17 PM

bobby666 09-21-2006 02:52 AM

opera is my choice, since version 1 till now with vers.9

Crazy Carlos 09-21-2006 03:01 AM

never heard of the browser safari. it sure is funny name for a browser.

i see that ff is the most used browser for webmasters here. That is a good thing. But any has that windows video error. that it tells you to install a plugin but htne it can't find a plug for it so it plays the videos in quick time video.

chaze 09-21-2006 03:03 AM

Still IE, firefox is a close second though.

xcitecash 09-21-2006 03:04 AM

FF is being a real pain right now so considering Opera
