Are oscommerce sites good at all for seo with the right hacks instealled? I rarely see oscommerce sites ranked on google. Trying to decide a shopping cart system.

oscommerce has a whole support community that has various hacks, etc.

they probably have some good seo tricks too. check it out.

Oscommerce forums are the worst place to get advise. I am still waiting for a response on these questions lol.

yeah the OSC forums are total ass. No one ever fucking answers.

There are osc sites ranked high, you just don't know it. With the right hacks osc is a spiders wet dream.

There's other carts out there based on OSC that have been pre-hacked like ZenCart and CRELoaded

What are some good seo hacks? I have used the STS template system and the SEO Meta Tag thing. It's hard to tell my site is oscommerce until you actually add the product to the cart. If there is anything else you can recommend great. I am pretty familular with the STS system now so I would be looking for SEO wet dream hacks :)

best for seo is X-cart ... It has a function that creates an html catalog, and pages of produicts shows name of product in url ....
