would this work?
okay i know putting a hidden page on your site, helps in detecting hitbots,
but couldnt you just put a some kind of redirect in that page to a 200 meg download? like a linux distro. and how could i redirect it if they do.. just put a link to the file? meta refresh? |
You put hidden links in order to track the clicks there. What will be the point to link to 200mb file? Also I don't think there's any possitive impact from redirecting a fake hit.
My advise is to have trustworthy trades and your problems will end for ever. Hitbotting trades are 99% of the time, the ones that use your autosignup script while you are away and fuck your site. I dont have any trading page up, neither I'm going to put ever. |
redirecting a fake hit

hey, you canīt start to redirect my hitbot traffic :feels-hot
damn, now I have to do some coding to detect your redirect stuff :ak47: |
i don't use either, but i know some hitbots act like a real browser. They load the page, click on the links and if you redirect the hit, they'll load the 2nd page and even click etc..... They carry a fake refferal and they can be easily detected from many trading scripts at the moment. So redirecting is a fake hit is possible, but i guess useless since :
1. if you send it to a trade/toplist it's like hitboting them 2. if you send it to a PPC sponsor you cheat them and possible get canceled soon. 3. Brick Of Love can be your next present :) |
