id have to say geek up until grade 9, then i became a stoner :1orglaugh

I'm wondering if "Hessian" is a term that anybody knows anymore.

let's see.... I played soccer and basketball and got a B average but I wasn't a nerd and I didn't hang out with all the coolest kids all the time.

Jock who partied a lot and liked his weed. I also had a lowrider and listened to punk.. Is there a category for this?

Most of the old timers here went to high school where you would fit in with one crowd and one crowd only.

Ok lets see what was I in HS.

I was that role playing geek who ran all the games.
I also was part of the A/V club, the computer club.
Worked the lunch room and snack bar during break (hey free lunch was nice and it was fresh).
I had the locker and duffle bag convience store. I also had leased lockers all over the campus, several per hall. These I sublet to other students on a co-op basis so they could keep books closer to each class.
I worked in the library, and it was my duty at the time to convert everything to a bar code database. (this also gave me access to entire school network)
I was also the "you can talk to me about your damn problems" guy, I have no idea how this happened or why, but damn girls would keep it up.

I think that is most of it.

Stoner, band geek, barely could pass my classes, listened to alot of metal.

I will also state that if you have access to the entire schools network and all records, you could technically get some "favors".

i was a grey mouse in the last shool and latent leader in first.

I was a combo unit really… A&V Geek definitely was at the top, but I was also a huge troublemaker and got into many fights with the negroid kids. I’ve got a lot of scars, mental and physical, from highschool… bleh.

That was a great youth. As for me - i am really sorry that i spend my youth in a dull way. I think i could do something more interesting than attending shool and nothing else.

last few years at high school i was lazy & drunk

the school was small, everyone knew everyone else pretty much. spent most of my time hanging out in the tech wing of the school working on cars and such. hung out with several different groups of people but was never 'popular'.

Both terms are generally considered synonymous.

I think nerds are more scientifically inclined while the geeks are more into fandom.

Bah for one year I was a science nerd that loves to impress the teacher. The following year I was an emo (ooh i hate the world and I wanna die).

I was simply a happy go lucky student back in HS. My ugly math teachers' favorite.

I was a computer geek who hung out with the smokers, had a gym teacher try to beat the shit out of me (subsequently losing his job for doing so), and ended up dating a pretty hot cheerleader.

So, I don't know where the hell I sit. Still a dork. No more cheerleaders. :(
