now that the dust has settled with the coup, things here in thailand are business as usual.. the transition has gone as well as can be expected and a new pm was named... for the expats who live here, the only minor inconvenience was the fact that the satellite tv was interrupted for about 12 hours...Comment

I am going to Bangkok in November, my wifes family lives there and they say there is basically no change. The coup was widely supported by the King, the people, etc. Thaksins governmetn was corrupt and deserved to be ousted.C H R I S
