...so i moved to arizona and promptly lost my favourite black glasses at the hotel i stayed in upon arrival. i probably don't even have to mention how much it costs to get new glasses without insurance, but there's that little dig to throw in too. :disgust

i tore the place apart and they swore they didn't have them so i let them go and surrendered to wearing my old specs which were being held together by super glue and epoxy at the nose piece up until yesterday, at which point the glue failed, and now i'm on to wearing pink bandaids to hold them together:

p.s. don't tell me i should get laser surgery for my eyeballs - i'm already worried about the cost of the glasses. :upsidedow besides, i don't like the idea of a laser cutting my cornea. :Oh crap

thanks! i've bought frames at the swap meet and had the lenses put in for me, making the glasses cost about a quarter as much - but those were cheap glasses sort of meant for being broken (i buy them to go to burning man, for mountain biking, etc.) i need new glasses like, yesterday! :upsidedow

Hey use Gorilla Glue its like $4. Used it the other day to fix stuff is way stronger then epoxy and should buy you some time :)
