That is interesting would be cool if it turned out to be more but surely we'd never know about it..

Even if an alien ship landed on the lawn on the white house they would still be making up excuses for it.

Just watched the NASA briefing. They're currently sending the astronauts to sleep while they develop plans to go see what it is and take out the arm on the following morning. They showed video of the object. It's in orbit with the shuttle and not exhibiting any kind of intelligent course changes you would look for in a UFO in the popular sense like right angle turns or movement at incredibly high speeds.

According to the Nasa briefing, this is most likely ice, space junk, a large tile that broke off the shuttle or even something that got out of the cargo hold by accident.

And in my opinion those speculations seem very plausible. Considering the level of open publicity this is getting it's probably nothing spectactular.

If the object starts changing course then US Space command from the surface will know about it. Two more briefings coming up at 3pm & 5pm central time.
