From what RudyT told me at lunch a couple of days ago, Ming is going to be it, barring any last minute changes from China.

I think Houston should select me: as long as no one is guarding me, I have a deadly jumper from anywhere within about 4 feet, a staggering 16" vertical leap, and I'd be willing to play for the NBA minimum....

What good is Yao Ming if he's not cleared to play in the NBA? idiot..

lets supose the transition from china to the US for yao ming is smooth..then what? will he have an impact on the nba? the main reason why teams are even searching for big men is to dominate the nba like shaq or to possibly provide resistance to shaq...i think shaq will just pound him and rape him just like everybody else...just like how he rapes all the other 7 footers in the nba..maculloch, brad miller, arvydas sabonis(even tho hes retired), ewing, olajuwon, robinson, duncan, nesterovic, vlade divac...etc..its not about talent when it comes down to shaq..all it is, is size
