Ok, i have a working knowledge of webmastering, and i've kind of stayed away from the adult industry the whole time. Now, I have the time to get into it, and i've been doing a lot of research. AVS's and TGP's seem to be flooding the market at a constant rate and paysites seem to have an overhead that is rediculous.

The reason i'm asking about women is because i've been toying with the idea of a site geared towards women, and i'm unsure whether the sponser ads should be targeted towards webmasters (webmistresses) or just towards sites.

Most girls don't like regular plastic porn. It's overwhelmingly made for us guys. Because our site has true amateur submitted videos, and the girls are having a good time in the videos, i think we attract some swingers, or just some girls who are interested in the whole amateur scene.

It's not like some porn sites, "take the cumshot or you won't get your heroin" attitude.

No, I misunderstood his question. I thought he was asking IF women prefer to run their own sites, to which I replied that I DO because I'd rather work for myself than someone else.

Definately no sarcasm intended. Any information is valuable information, even if it's not exactly what you were looking for. Sorry about the confusion and thank you for your input.

Here is my experience:

Women are EXTEREMELY cheap when it comes to porn. The ratio of members is about 99% guys. Plus, all of the camgirls I have ever worked with bitch about women who come into their chat or video. They complain that the women are worst than the men because the women are ALWAYS trying to get something for free.

My theory is that most women (not all) are used to having things paid for them. Most women get a ton of free shit. My girlfriend was amazed when we started dating at how much it cost to go out partying. She was used to everyone else paying her way and never had to look at the bill.

I, too, have been designing an adult site just for women and have done a ton of research. It is going to be a different venture, to say the least, but I think I can get it to work.
