ok here is the question most gallery post now charge to post galleries if they have any significant traffic so here is my question lets say I have a network of sites nich and general all clean sites most text sites a few thumb sites about 15% of all the traffic to these sites comes from search engines another 20-25% is book marked traffic the total traffic is aproximatley 70k -100k unquie per day and growing what is it worth to buy partner submission account for all sites in the network per month. that allows up to 10 galleries per day per site as long as it applys to the niche

I am not asking what would you like to pay we would all like free submissions back or at least cheaper submissions that is not the question the question is what would you pay if you were offered this deal above

After taking the poll please bump this post I would like to get at least 100-200 votes to get a real feel of what this monthly submit pass would be worth also please only vote if you are a gallery submitter so this is can be some what of an accurate poll

$30 is reasonable.
$1 per day is pretty good, depending on sales etc.
It would probably be best to test the traffic for a month though.

It all depends on the amount of sales I can make with your traffic.

It all depends on sales but asking submitters seems a bit weird as they would obviously prefer free.

Things that I consider.

Do you allow recip free galleries? If so thats better for an established submitter who usually has a massive amount of galleries they can fill up with and thus use their daily allowance.

Do you flood the site with free hosted galleries? If so that reduces the value of a pass.

Do you give your own galleries precedence? If so thats not so good either.

Do you feel that a submitter is going to make their money back? If no you wont have them for long.

Do you skim heavily?

Looking at the stats you listed above I would say its not unreasonable at $30 per month if you allow recip free, but if you require recips then I wouldnt pay more than $15.

To answer your question so that more people can give there opinion knowing the things you brought up which are important

NO recip would be allowed of course thouse with recip the script would give a higher spot to this is true only on scripts that give galleries points not true for example on thumb sites but recip would be a small factor quality of the gallery would be the main factor in your ranking I personally don't have time to add FHG daily or my own galleries daily and they would not be placed higher then partners basicly on the higher traffic sites I have it set to galleries get posted as they are submitted so if I submit right now and no one else does then they will be up top but only until someone else post galleries again I hardly have time to add galleries of my own, at present I add my own galleries maybe once every 2-4 months some times less not saying if my time were to be free'd up I wouldn't start posting more then onces every 2-4 weeks but will not affect the submitters at least not now



as far as the question do I feel the submitter will make his money back , I know for a fact if he/she has any skills in designing his galleries and is good with his descriptions and a decent sponsor he/she could make alot more then $30 a month but this depends more on the ability of the submitter the niche he submits the sponsor he uses ect..... the traffic is high quality and at the moment I only have a few partners that submit about 80-100 galleries a day if I were to sell the pass and all a suden we had 200-300-500 quality galleries a day submitted it would make bookmarks go up and traffic


as far as skim on most of the text sites I put a hard link 1 every 7-10 galleries at first and less as the farther you go down the list most my text tgp's galleries are clicked and do not go through a traffic script

on archive pages I have the skim at 80%-90% that is 80-90% to galleries 10-20% to trades


On thumb sites I have it set between 100% to content at the top to 60% towards the bottom

Somewhere between $20 and $30 sounds fine.

I wouldn't pay over $20 for a 70k/day network.

And I do submit 6 galleries a day. And pretty much have all the partner accounts out there.

How much do you spend a month on PAs?

I wouldn't charge anything if my site was only doing 70-100k/day. Instead, I would give PA's away to certain people who can help me boost the quality & quantity of my traffic.

The average is exactly at $20.83 right now.

depends on quality of traffic.

I've never summed up to be sure, but if I would have to guess I'd say that I spend around $500/month.

I do have quite a few partner accounts that were supposed to be paid for free also.

Ahhh. That's the killer now a days. Alot of the older submitters don't have to pay for the partners that us newer guys have to buy.

i'd compare my prices with other companies selling partner accounts... if people get listed often, and the traffic is good and generates sales $30 definately sounds reasonable.

Gallery submitters aren't exactly in high demand... :1orglaugh

It would really depend on a number of variables, but I will say that I have free PA's on several sites that are doing that type of traffic.

Never thought there would be such a difference in opinion on this one please keep voting would like to get enough votes to have the best idea on the worth here

Thanks I will try a few out on a couple of my mature and fat sites although I notice there is not many hosted galleries will you be adding more in the near future

Exactly..... there are lots of people out there who can "promise" traffic....

Yes that I understand I of course would not guarentee a specific amount of traffic nor can I gaurentee you can make sales that depends more on your galleries your designs your sponsor your descriptions your thumbs ect.. I can promise my traffic is high quality , but that is all amount sent depends on when you submit how long it stays towards the top how many more people aree submitting thumb description category ect... ect... ect....

$30 bucks isn't that much.. maybe you should charge less for the first month and then if your traffic is any good you could charge $40-50 the next months :pimp

At the moment I don't charge for partner accounts but I also haven't added a partner account in about 2 years becuase of all the cheaters who I gave partner accounts in the past submitters that look like they were legit and had good designs and content even had refferences but the made a bunch of partner accounts just to make some fake galleries that installed all kinds of crap into my surfers browsers from the admin area they all look normal but if you click from the site after cleaning history pop up hell , so I figure a fee is the only way to stop or at least lower the amount of cheater would sign up for partner accounts and this way they have more to lose then just there partner account they also have there cash to lose plus the extra cash I would probably end up ussing to make more sites and buy traffic for current sites to make the sites bigger and better
