I know you're a 'Mutt' ;) but I wonder if there's any dangers in shaving a pussy like that? Seriously, I wanted to get my cat shaved or at least trimmed but everyone's telling me not to (besides the fact that he's a beautiful black cat, he sheds too much)

sometimes animals have to be shaved - for surgery, sometimes they also lose their fur from different diseases/conditions - my dog lost a huge patch on her back once - turned out to be some metabolic disorder, hair grew back when she was treated for it. i doubt there is anything bad that would happen if you shaved or trimmed a domestic cat - other than they wouldn't be able to go outside in winter for long.

To try and see if he was the antichrist of course. That's why I shave cats at least, I have a theory that the antichrist will be born in a cat's body and will display the mark of the beast somewhere on its body.

i considered that - i also considered that it's not a real cat - but i think it is and that is not a costume - i can see where certain parts of his skin are more raw and pink - when vets shave animals they are pretty rough, not like they are hair stylists - looks legit to me - but i could be wrong. it does look like they propped him up in that position to take this photo.

On his left leg, you can see the seam in his costume

He has such a nice ginger color in the places where there is still some hair:)

hmmm - i did see that - i thought it was the way his skin folded - where in the world would anybody get a costume of a shaved cat? the skin looks very realistic - exactly the way a shaved animals skins looks - i still believe it's real but it wouldn't shock me if it wasn't.
