Laptop stolen need another - Barter or Trade
 

I had my older laptop stolen this morning. It really was not mine I had borrowed it from my girlfriends 9 year old brother( I gave it to him in the first place) It was a Gateway SOLO 2550 LAPTOP 500/DVD/160 megs of ram /10g hard drive/13" nice screen /56k
He mainly use's it for playing starcraft online or watching movies in the car it was a very handy thing to have. Anyway I am looking to get him another one something along the same lines I don't mind if the processor is a little slower or the screen a little smaller. I would like to do a barter with someone for either hosting or content or something. I know that some of you guys or gals webmasters have older laptops sitting gathering dust so now is your chance to do something with it and make me and a little kid happy.

It's not that I can't find one I don't want to pay for one. Cash is tight this month and I figured someone would like a great deal for something that is just gathering dust.

I forgot all about that.
I was eating breakfast with a friend and had the laptop in one of those backpack looking cases (which Alex actullly bought from the money he made mowing lawns and stuff, yes thats in there for sympathy) slung on the back of the chair. Got up to go to the bathroom guys behind us got up and just picked it up and walked out. My friend thought it was theres because they did it so openly. She and I didn't notice it was gone for about 15 minutes when I reached for it to show her some stuff.
You know that feeling you get when you know it's gone but you look all around in case it came to life and was hiding somewhere? Thats what I felt like looking all around and finally the waitress came over and said she thought that was my bag they took but she wasn't sure and because they where a different race then her she didn't want to say anything. Go figure.

and for those of you who are wondering what Alex looks like or if he even exit look at the site he designed. He picked everthing out himself. The only thing I had to help him with is the ftp he still can't remember to put ftp instead of www.
