yeah there are some casinos up there but not much else. Everything good is down here in BR and what's left of New Orleans


and by good i mean, good for LA, not good in comparison to any states who have left the early 1900's mentality :winkwink:

My best friend lives there. Apparently they have the casinos that some enjoy, but the Chinese food there isn't that great!

Shreveport is a nice city, I suggest you hit up the casino's in the downtown area, plenty of great places to eat in that area as well.

Also just as a side note, drugs are VERY illegal in the port city, the cops won't let you "make it" with even a small amount of green if you happen to get pulled over.

The casinos are really all there is to do there for fun. They are pretty nice if you're into that thing. The food is pretty solid if you are into spicey southern cooking. I just can't take the weather down there, which has always been hot and humid. Shouldn't be too bad in the winter though.
