What do you use for watermarking/copyright text?

I'm looking for a free/cheap program that I can use to watermark/copywright pics.

Two big requirements are that it doesn't
  1. it doesn't degrade the pic
  2. and it allows be manually pick the location of the mark for each image
Any suggestions?

David.

How does Photoshop allow this? Is it a standard feature or a script? Is there a tutorial or example someplace?

Thanks, David.

you make the watermark with photoshop and then run a batch to add it to all of your pics. You can do 200-300 at a time depending on the size.

Nice thread:thumbsup
I will try a few of these out.
thx

I checked out Shark and while it is pretty nice it has the same problem that all the others I have seen.

I still can't find a program that will let me manually choose for each picture where I want the copyright info to go. I want to be able to choose right, left, top, or bottom for each individual pic.

Someone has to know something that does this.

David.

I use "Arles" it's really good

DWB 09-17-2006 03:05 PM

Irfanview will do it, as will Arles.

What ever Smokey has looks pretty cool as well, but that guy is so sneaky I'm sure it's a custom script her made. You rock Smokey!
