Haha.. we used to do this to the teachers in high-school so we could change our grades.. It was pretty easy shit to fake a unix login prompt .. didn't even have to be perfect. They get a "bad password" response, we clear the screen, and send them to a real login. Haha...

wasnt this out a few years ago when some people did this and setup a domain for typeins like

paypai.com or something

maybe this is yahoo's way of scaring people from using paypal, and over to their paydirect :)

A big company would never do anything bad like that! ::cough enron::: I mean, to think that a big U.S. company :::enron::: would do something to harm another company, or to profit for themselves :::martha stewart::: by insider trading....

I had a buddy do the same thing with AOL, you should have seen how many screenames/passwords he collected.

Well one more uphill battle and win for ecommerce once its solved.

Nothing new to the scam. People have been doing this to get various information since there's been an internet and a crook in the same room.

Pays to be careful of the urls etc when you give out your information.

Actually, it's not a hack, it's just someone spoofing PayPal's email and site.

Happend to me twice and hopefully won't happen again *knock on wood*
