I have played a few less expensive guitars and have found the quality wasn't there. I know dean makes a decent product and was wondering how it sounded.

For example Epiphone... played a few of them and they do not compare to a real Gibson Les Paul.

I ordered this custom like 3 weeks ago. I had the pick ups and pots replaced and had all the wiring redone. The only thing Dean there is the wood. That's what I wanted.

That Ax cost WAY more than 200 bucks dude and you obviously have Adult Webmaster syndrome and buy your shit soley based on brand name so you can have bragging rights. Les Paul stopped being the be all end all of guitars in like 1970. I know this because I just do. I own a 67 Les Paul custom and a NINETEEN THIRTY NINE RICKENBACKER. Don't even TRY to tell me about guitars man.

Les Pauls did NOT stop being good in the 70's. They went through a bad patch IN the 70's and early 80's, at which point they turned it around.

Now any arguing is childish and pointless.
