Icq problems errr
 

I cant connect, cant load the contact list :(

Nope I have the same problem, just hangs loading the contact list :(

Use the trilian and you will never have problems with icq anymore :)

Thats a good sign, the same error, so its probably getting fixed :winkwink:

It's been like this for me since last week off and on. Download QIP http://qip.ru/ and then login to ICQ via QIP and you should be alright

Yeah I had a hell of a time with ICQ until like yesterday.

Happened when I transferred two 80G hardisks to a new, faster machine... so I thought it was the download. Redid it twice. Fucker would just tell me it was connected for like half an hour.

Finally let it install with the browser homepage and the toolbar and all that crap, uninstalled all that crap, and it happened to work... hasn't screwed up since...

Could it be they want you to use their damn bookmark and toolbar??

Mine always shows me as 'Away' no matter what I do. Just started today.. fuck ICQ

uninstalled ICQ... installed Trillian..... laptops running much better :) :) :)
