i give up - i've spent hours trying to get this right and reading tutorials - nothing works - i'm trying to make a seamless background tile of diagonal text - here's an example - this doesn't tile - can anybody figure out how to do this? must be some mathematical equation

You use your guides to match the left and right
and the top and bottom

Sorta hard to explain hit me on ICQ and I'll send you the PSD

Your angle was off .. you'd never have got it without changing the angle

ahh - the angle of the text is important, i figured that but had no idea what angle would work - what's your ICQ?
