Quick Question about solo model 6 memberships
 

When someone signs up for a 6 month membership with a solo model and you get the big chunk of $39.95.

When they retire their membership and sign up for another 6 months, do you (the affiliate) see any of this money? of the new payment. ?

Most of these 6 Month payments are non-recurring but I was wondering if you would keep the member for life like on the cam sites.

Its just something that has been bothering me for a while now and I would like to know

if they sign up again its gonna be through another link I would assume or an upgrade/continuation letter from the site.

even though they have the same cookie? and same credit card details?

3 and 6 month memberships should always recurr.... never understood others not setting 'em up that way.

yeh i agree with you tat2jr, i think its odd they put non recurring on some payments. it just makes the surfer think hmm, so one will reccur me. maybe cb, i dunno

The reason webmasters put nonrecurring joins up is because some surfers absolutely will not sign up for a recurring join.

We've experimented with pricing structures as high as $10 different ($19.95/month, recurs at 19.95/month or $29.95/month, nonrecurring) and people overwhelmingly select the nonrecurring join, even though it's $10 more. Ditto the higher priced options; customers will pay $49.95 for 90 days sooner than they will pay $39.95 for 120 days recurring. Go figure.

Also, I belive Epoch in particular is nervous about 6 month recurring joins, so if a sponsor is Epoch only and offers a 6 month subscription, that might be why.

I believe, but am not sure, that NATS can be configured to credit the referring webmaster if a previous customer signs up using the same email and member name when they rejoin on a nonrecurring join.
