I bet anything this was a hack.

I was at the p2p conference a couple months ago that edonkey was at with some of the major music and movie studio execs there and there are working together more and more everyday. The music studios are coming around and some have already signed deals with some p2p networks.

btw if edonkey shut down, i don't think emule would be working :2 cents:

wow talk about a turn of events. i listened to Sam Yagan speak with Steve Marks, EVP & General Counsel, Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and Fritz Attaway, EVP & General Counsel, Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) amoung others a few months ago and it seemed like the p2p networks and movie/music industry was making a lot of headway.

No doubt what was put on edonky.com was scripted as part of the deal, seems like something a hacker would say.

interesting turn of events, so who is going to pop up next. I thought the movie / music industry was finally learning, you can stop p2p so time to make money from it instead of wasting money trying to fight it.... wonder who is going to be next to take their place.

Im conecting OK through Shareza - Its all distributed so I doubt they can do much about the network that is in place - I dont think that many people actually used the eDoney software, so Im not sure if even if that dosnt work it will have much of an effect.

Agree with you on that one.. plus their is torrents and things are changing fast .. the only way the record companies can beat the downloads is to provide better service.. their is always going to be more services.. more products more people running the service from different locations ... like Russia .. china .. Iran .. and so on.. you can't be running after everyone all day.

they MUST stop the demand because in capitalism .. demand bring supply .. supply doesn't creates demand.

and to stop the demand .. they must provide all their music at high quality .. fast .. and easy for the customers.. with coupons for a physical experience for the user. prizes and crap.

make it much more fun to deal with the real deal and not the rip.
