Dawson Shooting: Wanna Bet Where The Guns Came From?
|
Who did the shooting, again, the guns or the shooter?
Maybe we should start blaming people for the issues of the world and not inanimate objects. |
you can buy guns in canada
probably came from bjuf's gun locker |
I was waiting for that lol
|
guns don't kill people, BULLETS KILL PEOPLE!!
|
What kind of retarded thread is this? Everyone I know in Canada has a gun, and they didn't come from the US.
Where are you from? |

I own 16 guns, they don't shoot themselves. |
I just wanted to peek in on this retarded thread.
Why don't you just say what you want to say, it's Bushes fault. Clown. |
|
well the one gun is apparently an AK-47 so that probably came from Russia I would think ;)
DH |
Well of course, Machine guns aren't made in Canada last time I checked.. That's really not the point.. What drives fucking people like this to open fire on innocent students.. That's the question
|
You are a fucking idiot, it is people who kill people, like said above you cannot blame weapons it is the people.
have you ever tried drugs? smoked a little weed? well guess basically if you have you have also contributed. |

"Produced by Arsenal, Inc. of Las Vegas, Nev., it's the first time that full-scale licensed production of the AK-47 has been undertaken outside the Eastern Block." |
Hehe, I expected this response.

The guns provided the means for them to act out whatever revenge or deranged fantasy they had. It's psychology 101. And although my original post may look like a shot at the USA, rather it's a shot at your ridiculous gun laws - specifically, the completely insane lift on the assault weapon ban. Early indications are that these guys were using assault rifles. The only people that should have assault rifles, semi-automatics, etc. are the police/swat, etc. and the military. |

My hunch is that the guns came from south of the border (likely smuggled in) and it's a pretty fair bet. There was an article not that long ago in a Toronto paper that traced a gun that killed a Toronto person back to Florida. It was just one instance but the article was alarming. If I can dig up the URL I'll post it here for inquiring minds. P.S. I pray your 16 guns don't end up in the wrong hands ... that article shows how must guns that kill people were originally bought by good people for rational reasons. But through one circumstance or another they end up in the hands of criminals .. or pyschos like these kids. |

That in no way, shape or form has ANY relevance to troubled youths walking into a school with automatic rifles. Seriously, come back with something intelligent, I honestly know you're capable of a better comparison than this. |

I find this whole thread in that mindset. It has been shown in history, oh Hell, just 2 days ago, with 9/11 that if someone pyscho fuck wants to kill people, they can do it without guns. 2 Big Airplanes did more than just kill a few people. |

:helpme Knives? No, it's too close and personal. If you know anything about what these crimes are about and what motivates them, then you'd realize that guns are the ONLY legitimate way they could have done this. These are cowards and only equipped with a killing weapon that takes relatively little skill to use (point, spray), could they even have contemplated this. |

And done a better job? |

clearly i think we shouold outlaw airplanes, tall buildings, and muslims. that is the only logical solution to keep them from falling into the hands of evil doers. |

This thread is going to be big.

i was under the impression that after bill c-68 canada was a net exporter of non-military guns, i.e. they export more than they import

You must be a student of Michael Moore's teachings. |
As this thread predictably heats up and sidetracks all over the place, let me take a moment to explain Canadians and how we perceive the US.
I obviously don't speak for all Canadians, but I think it's fairly accurate. We are a peaceful country and people by nature. Our history isn't as rich in warfare as many others, incl. the US. We are swamped by US media (TV, music, movies - and in most ways, that's a good thing), but from an outside perspective we see a neighbouring country that has so many issues with race and violence, we don't understand it. We also wonder how you can be so obsessed with your right to bear arms, it seems silly to us. But of course, we don't live there. So when the guns, drugs, illegal immigrants and other bad elements of the USA trickle up here we don't appreciate it. We think "Hey, send us your good tv shows, cars, products, etc. but keep your guns, drugs and illegals to yourself." Of course, it's impossible but I really, really wish that the gun violence from US cities doesn't plague us. For a city of 3+ million we have maybe 50 homicides a year. We want to keep it that way and we realize that no matter how much money or personnel we put into border security, the guns will get through. Peace :) |

Kevsh, HOLY SHIT, I kid you not, I was writing the same post but with using a US Citizen point of view! I love Canada. If I could live up there 6 months and 6 months down here in Fla, I would! It is a shame, that there is nowhere in this world that you can shelter yourself away from the idiots and crackpots of this world. :( |
