ICQ on Trillian any issues?
 

Is anyone else unable to login to ICQ using trillian over the last 2 days?

It isn't exactly a hard question to answer, anyone, Bueller?

I have constant issues with not getting messages. In fact I'm going back to using each messenger on its own.

I've had some problems with it too. I upgraded Trillian today to 3.1 pro, to see if that would help. Not sure it has.

Thanks for the reply - forget not getting msgs - my trillian as of yesterday refuses to even log in to ICQ.

my icq did not connect for about 3-4 hours today too. then tried with trillian, without success. after that icq worked again...

why not just download icq itself?

Becuase Trillian has a better UI and also better history management. Add to that you can use it for your MSN AOL and Yahoo, and there is your answer.

Nope havent had an issue for months and month. Been using trillian only for 3 years or more now. Would never go back to msn yahoo aim and icq all running bah.

I used the pro version of Trillian for over a year and finally gave up on it, I'm back to regular old ICQ. There are lots of known issues with Trillian and they are not working to fix them.

i use trillian 0.74 - some ancient free version of it - and honestly never ever had issues of not being able to log in

ive not recieve msg but only from some users others work fine
few ther ppl told me they had same today

my msn is acting up with trillian.. today it told me i have an invaild password. it always fucks up and doesnt connect

I never find my messages. I prefer to run them all seperate

Trillian sucks. When it works it works fine. But when there is a bug it's a huge pain in the ass. I've been using gAim - it's open source/free, it's light, it connects to AOL/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo and more under one interface, has history, spell checker, etc. Took me a few days to get used to it and have not have any problems yet. It's been a year. Give it a go.

i also had that problem for the past 2 days already. I have my AIM, MSN and YM all together but my ICQ doesn't work.

It has been working fine for me

i've had problems with trillian and ICQ in the past which reqiured an update to fix, but lately no known issues. Good luck.
