gee, my bank charges about $10 for bounced check, you pay 65 Euros???

On the other hand my bank charges hefty comission too so when I get a check for $25 from CCBill (referal income) I think about 30% gets into my account lol

65 Euros for a bounced check???? WTF. When i hear stories like this, i wonder what kind of banks you people are using. I've had checks bounce, costed a whooping 5$. They even called me to ask me can they automatically deduct that from my second account so i don't even have to come to the bank...

Was it a current or check or one that went stale after 6 months by not cashing it?

webdonkey 09-12-2006 09:41 AM

My bank charges 12,50 euro's to cash a check and indeed also 60 euro's with a bounced check. That happend to me once. Its not something you wanna see if the cash flow coming from the industry isnt that big yet.

Also my old bank only cashed 2 checks for me, after that i needed to talk to the manager who asked me kindly to cash my checks somewhere else.

They didnt wanted anything to do with checks from the adult industry????

Thats just fucked up , so i moved my complete account to another bank :pimp

That's just nasty man.. Well, their loss. Banks here fight for clients. My first bank had me talk to the manager each time i had to cash in a check, so after 3rd time, i wanted to pull my account and take it elsewhere, they immediatelly stop'd. Eventually i closed that account cause i had a better deal in my current bank, but closing an account always gets them on their toes.

Sean - it was a current check if it was anything like mine that had the same issue two weeks ago - they evidently had a small accounting problem but they have already issued me a replacement with the bank charge included :thumbsup
