I need a Mentor!
 

Hey Everyone,

I'm brand new to the webmaster business, as well as the adult business and I'm lookign for a mentor.

I've started up a very basic site sexy-stephanie.com for one couple providing me exclusive hardcore / foot fetish etc. content. I plan on adding a section to sell used clothing etc. as well.

I have another couple also dedicated to providing me exclusive content in the hardcore / fetish / goldenshower etc. BDSM genre.

I am looking for someone that can show me the ropes a little, reccomend scripts for easilly uploading content to the site, reccomend advertisers to place on the page to increase revenue, and even some info on how to get the word out about my site.

I'd appreciate anyone getting in tougch with me as I read a few posts and there seems to be a wealth of knowledge!

Ummmm..... not to sure about you using paypal as a processor. You would be in danger of getting your account locked.

I do realise the risk of running paypal, but I live in canada, and the options of accepting credit cards online here are slim, and very expensive.

I'm not a web designer and had someone else do the site for a small fee, however I am interested in improving it however I can.

I think the site is somewhat overloaded and takes ages to load. Get rid of the background images. And something is weird with the colors, they don't really match. Maybe this is just my personal feeling.

But take care of the text color of the ads on the left. Black on dark blue => impossible to read.

And think twice about using paypal, i think it is a big no no.

Um... personally i'd scrap that layout all together and hire a good designer to make one for you. Their all over this board and shouldnt be to hard to find. Also i seen where it says join for $2.95. Is that for a whole month :/ Thats gotta be a mistake maybe?? Well anyways thats just my 2 cents. Good luck to ya.
