Obscenity Prosecution Over Topless Photos? Police Chief, Mayor, Councilman Resign!
 

My partner, who's a cop, got a notice about this from PoliceOne.com, an online community for law enforcement officers:

Short Version: Chief Of Police's wife posts nude photos of herself online, including topless photos of herself wrapped in an american flag.

Town goes crazy.

District Attorney recommends obscenity prosecution.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation looking into the matter.

The Chief of Police, Mayor, and several City Council Members have resigned over the matter.

yeah I read about this a few days ago on another site..
It's complete BS..just another case of over zealous D.A.'s and people trying to control how others live their lives and inflict their morals and beliefs on others.

From what I understand about the Police Chief, he has been responsible for more crime reduction than any other police chief they have ever had and was the "toast of the town" before this happened, they loved him...sad situation for sure and the reality is they have lost much more than the best police chief they ever had along with the mayor and council people that have stepped down because of this...they have created an atmosphere in which they will have a difficult time finding people to replace them that are willing to subject themselves to such scrutiny and possible interference in there personal lives by members of the community on a witch hunt...

The irony and hypocrisy of this whole thing is someone had to have found those photos of her while most likely surfing for porn themselves..and yet they are suddenly the holiest of holy and SHE's the scum of the earth.

LOL. I read that too. Sorry, but I have to agree...if she's that big...she can do whatever the fuck she wants and I wouldn't stop her. Then again, I wouldn't be married to a 6'3", 300 lbs. woman either.

As for the rest of this...it's fucked! Just another example of people sticking their fucking noses into places that they shouldn't.

Interesting, but not surprising.

The only reason it went that far is because she was the wife of the chief of police. Citizens expect any member of law enforcement (and their spouse in this case) to be upstanding members of the community on an ultimately high level.

Also consider that this position involves a lot of politics. The chief of police is either elected by voters or appointed by people who were elected. In politics, anything goes.

what country is this in? Sounds like a really repressed and backwards type...where is it? does anybody know where people behave like that?
