Widest table that fits on 800x600 IE?
 

Next design I make I'll probably do for 1024x768 and up, but this one hsa to work on 800x600 too... So what's the widest table you can have without any scrolling in IE? 765px works for me but I've heard that no more than 760 if you wanna be really safe?

Maybe it's better to stay with 760. Do 5 Pixels make a difference?

But you can't be really sure: what if somebody has the taskbar sideways? or uses the history? Ok, this might be such a small fraction of the few poor guys who still use 800x600 so it doesn't really matter.

just take out the scroll bar... 750 pixels usually works good
